Drift Harder. Climb Faster. Own the Grid.
SpeedPlayZone is a 60fps arcade racer built in Melbourne — tune 42 licensed-style machines, master reactive drift physics, and battle live leaderboards across 18 handcrafted circuits.
Built by racers, tuned frame by frame
We are an eight-person studio working out of a warehouse on Hardware Street in Melbourne’s CBD. SpeedPlayZone started as a weekend physics experiment in 2021 and grew into one of Australia’s highest-rated mobile racers.
Every corner apex, tyre-slip curve, and gear ratio is hand-tuned on real Android hardware — from a Pixel 6a to the latest flagships. No pay-to-win, no forced ads mid-race, no dark patterns. Just clean, responsive driving.
- Adaptive 60fps engine that scales from budget phones to flagships
- Offline career mode — no connection required to race
- Cloud save synced to your Google Play account

What the grid is saying
Verified reviews pulled from Google Play, Australia.
Finally a mobile racer that respects my thumbs. The drift model is genuinely closer to a console sim than anything else on Android. Shaved 3 seconds off my best in a week.
Bought the Pro Pass on day one to kill the ads and it was the best $6.99 I’ve spent. Runs buttery on my three-year-old phone. No lag, no crashes.
The garage tuning is a rabbit hole. I spent an hour dialling in gear ratios for the coastal sprint and it actually made a measurable difference on the leaderboard.
Offline career mode is a lifesaver on the train commute. Cloud save picked up exactly where I left off when I got home. Small studio, huge polish.
The live ghost battles are addictive. Watching my rank climb after a clean lap keeps me coming back every night. No pay-to-win nonsense here.
Support replied to my bug report within a day and pushed a fix that week. You can tell real people who love racing made this.
